What a Week 3/27/11

Hey Everyone
guess i will write about our week this week... not much has really happened. At least it didn't end all that well. but i guess i can't say that nothing good happened. I will tell you the bad parts then i will make it good with the good things that happend.
So yesterday was probably the most frustrating sunday of my entire mission. Church was, for lack of a better description, a train wreck. It just did not go as well as you could hope. People were showing up way late. nobody was going to there classes. Nobody was teaching the classes. None of our investigators showed up. I ended up teaching preisthood... we only had 59 people. It just was not as good as we were hoping and expecting. But the good thing from that is it can only improve =D So here is for hoping. So we will see.
As for the good! one of the less active people we have been focusing on. They went to church and he even passed the sacrament. We are hopefuly going to try and prepare him to either get a calling or go on a mission. Hopefully the later. Also we have news that we will be getting a new bishop in the next two or three weeks!!!! Its way exciting. The candidate is way nice. I just hope he can do it and not go inactive. Haha. Isn't that a sad prayer? We will just have to see what happens. But he just moved here to our ward so i think it will be good for him to become the bishop. YOu never know he could be the thing that saves this ward. I will let you know what happens.
As for me and Elder Peterson we are getting excited for General Conference. For all of you it is this weekend, as for us it is not untill next week.we are waiting patiently. So here is my kinda funny story.. but not really that funny haha. Don't don't expect that much. So everyone has a lot of respect for the mission president. He is way awesome so whenever you see or talk to him it is a way good experiance. So last saturday we were sitting there at the table doing our studies and one of our members kept calling my cell phone and i just kept pushing silent without even looking at the phone... well at one point i decided to look down and right before i pushed silent to end the call i saw that it was President Tobias calling... That was close. I was way lucky that i didn't do that. That would have been badf.
ANyways. That is about it for my week. Not much else has happened. Just pushing on with life. Keep the Members here in Calumangan in your prayers. And Enjoy conference this weekend. But don't tell me anything about it in next weeks email!! i want it to be new when we watch it in two weeks.
