Good Morning Everyone!!
Well i will try to give you a recap of my week: So after i left you last week we went to the church so i could set up for district meeting on tuesday. After that we went and i baught a piece of pipe so i could try and turn the faucet in our bathroom into a shower... needless to say.. it didn't work. so i'm still using a bucket, but hey i can't complain. At least i have a house no? anyways. Then we went down to a place called San Enrique where half our zone showed up and we played basketball. It was way fun. I haven't played basketball since my second transfer. Which was june. I'm way out of shape. When we got home Elder Malit and i just kinda sat there... He wasn't feeling like doing much for some reason. Anyways. On monday i found out that i would not be transfering but would be getting to stay in my area for another transfer... but i chose to not tell Elder Malit that he wouldl get to transfer. He kept trying to get me to tell him but i wouldn't. After dinner, we went to bed so that we wouldn't be tired the next day. On tuesday we got up and went to District meeting. I had to teach about making and setting goals. It was a good lesson, Everybody listened fairly well.. probably cause i told them i wouldnt say if they were transfering unless they listened. After the lesson, i just screwed with there heads a little bit and decided i wouldn't tell them for about twenty minutes. When i finally told them they were way happy and danced with joy, and sang songs. Transfers are very stressful so people are very glad when they DON"T have to transfer. Lucky me i didn't have to. So after all was said and done, we went to get an Ice Cream. It was Mango Flavored and very good and the best part is it only cost 10 pesos!!! SO WORTH IT!!! After District meeting we went home and Elder Malit began to pack. I told him he had about untill 2pm cause we had to go out and teach some lessons.... So he changed cloths and started his laundry and began to pack... and 2pm came... and then went... and he was still doing laundry... then 3pm came... and went... At this point he was putting stuff in his bag... Then 4pm... then 5pm... finally he changed back into his Proslyting cloths.. At this point he informed me that we had to go to Bago to withdraw money so he could get to Bacolod in the morning... i don't need to explain much more.. Obviously we never got an lessons' taught. We mostly just said good bye to members. So Wednesday morning we got up early and headed out for Bacolod. Elder Malit Gave me some of the reces that he was saving for transfer day. It was so good!!! (Hint: I want Reces ;)_ ) Anyways. When we got to the Church for transfers, i saw some of my friends i hadn't seen for a while. So that was nice. Then the meeting began. President announced a few things, then he told us he was going to interview some people... He called out the names of all the missionaries that everyone knows are disobediant.. and then he paused for a second and called out my name. Everyone was surprised. i said "sige ah" which doesn't really translate but means something along the lines of "ok, whatever you say." Basta (Regardless) It was a good interview. Anyways, Now i'm assigned with Elder Peterson. He is from California and we are getting along great. We had a lot of good teaching last transfer and i have alot of hope for this transfer. We will have to see how well things work out. Oh ya!! we had a baptism on Saturday. I will include pictures. Her name is Edith. She has an autisic son and converted from baptist. We have been teaching her for two months now. She is way excited!! Anyways. That is the majority of my week. I hope you enjoyed reading about the trivial things in a missionaries life. =) haha.
