Woo Hoo! 5-15-11

Hey Everyone!!! Well i don't have much to report on this week... It was an okay week. Nothing much in terms of our investigators progressing. They are all doing... Not so well. Sister Teressa Abibiason came to church though so that is good for her! I was surprised when she got there. But she came so now hopefuly she will continue to come and we can start to help her husband. attached are some pictures of the Water fall we went to last week. I didn't get a chance to tell you about it but it was AWESOME!!!! It was way cool. it was a bit expensive to get there... A usual trike ride is around 30 pesos for 4 people... This one cost us 400 pesos... so roughly 100 pesos each. But it was so worth it. Their were even pine trees up on the top of the mountain! We had to stop and walk a couple times cause the motorcycle couldn't make it up it was so steep. But finally we made it! I was affraid the trip would fail. I planned the whole thing and had almost no idea where we were going other then the fact we were getting on a bus going to Ma-ao. But it turned out well! The other good thing this week is we got to celebrate the LDS Jubilee in the philippines. THat is where the country celebrates the church having been in the country for 50 years. It was a huge celebration and all the stakes got together for a huge and i mean HUGE celebration. We all got to go to bacolod to the college of st La Sall (Catholic school) and watch. All the stakes put on cultural dances and then at the very end all the youth from each stake put on 4 huge dance numbers. It was so cool. All the costumes were huge and brightly colored. Some of the members said they would put it on my face book. so if it shows up you can see it there. (my camera wasn't working so i couldn't take any pictures.) And then afterwards we all took a picture. (All the Missionaries and president Tobias) Elder Peterson and i lucked out. All the other stakes in the mission other than the four central stakes did their own things. But our stake got to be included in the huge Central celebration. Had we been asigned in another stake we wouldn't have been alowed to go. I'm way glad we got to go!!

Well thats really it for this week! i will email again next week and maybe we will know if i'm transfering or not!?!?! any guesses?
