Hey,
Well this is the news on my end. Not much has changed. Just sitting here in my area trying to figure out how to get people to come back to church. We have had amazing success in the last couple of weeks. We started with around 55 my first week last week we hit 75 and this week we are up to 81. So wish us luck that we can continue on and do even better. I'm excited to try this week. We even got our inactive ward mission leader to church. We let all the young men borrow shirts and ties rather than pass the sacrament in there T-Shirts. It was way cool, and i know the members can feel the difference. They come up and thank us every time. The biggest one they said was Thanking us for getting a sister who hasn't come to church in over 15 years to come back. It was way cool. Another cool person that came back to church. It was the ward mission leaders brother. His name is edgar he is 18 and hasn't been to church since he was 15. He is still a Deacon. He came to church!! i was so excited to see him. We were leaving the church to run to the house and get some ties when we saw Him. It was so cool. I was so surprised when we say him. soon we are going to have to start having people sit in the hall. We almost ran out of chairs... and room in the chapel. Its way exciting. The work is really progressing here. Thank you for your prayers and support. Keep praying for the people of Calumangan Ward.
As for me. I am getting ready to go to a place called Binalbagan tomorrow morning. We have to be on the high way and waiting for a bus by 4am just to get there on time. I hope were not late. I'm way excited cause it is time for another mission tour. We have another member of the Quroum of the 70's coming to our mission again. Elder Teh. It is was cool. We get to have a meeting with him. All the District leaders. So maybe i will luck out and get an interview. Who knows we will see. other than that not much has really happened in the last week. It has been way tiring. but nothing much else. Last night i had to go pick up the neighbors FAT dog so that it wouldn't get run over by a car... so now my favorite tie smells like dog... (so if anyone can send me some cool ties ;) it would be much appreciated) anyways. Thank you all for everything!! Talk to you next week!
