it has just been a very long week... well I won't dwell on it but i will just give you a quick update. On Tuesday had a bit of an accident in the car.... I was driving down the road to a place called Binago... As i was driving i saw some kids playing on the side of the road (no i didn't aim for them) as i was moving to the side to avoid them i beeped the horn to warn them i was there but a mother on the other side called her three year old sons name and being so young the kid turned and ran for the voice of his mother. The Boy ran right into the side of my car scaring me to death and making a huge THUD!!! as I realized what happened i pulled to the side of theroad. We got out of the car (Three rather large Americans) and walked towards the crying kid and his mother as we came closer the kid began to cry, and all the other Philippines were yelling "hospital nakamo!" (Go to the hospital!) so we loaded them in the car and headed to the hospital... Well these proved to be a hard process. because President Tobias and Elder Potter were out of town with Elder Ko... (a member of the quorum of the 70's who was touring our mission) So they weren't here to help.. so we were talking them through texts cause calling here in the Philippines is very hard. So we took him to the hospital and he got an x-ray and then they told us he had a fractured leg. but there was no room at the the hospital so we had to go to back to his house to wait for his father and then taking him to another hospital. when we got to his home we were told by the neighbors thatthe father was worried and had rushed away to the hospital. so we told them which hospital we were now going to and then told them to tell the father to text us when he returned... all in all it was a very long night.... but 11 o'clock he had a cast and was admitted into the hospital. The father finally showed up and he was a very nice guy. just concerned for his son... they were very poor. and hospital bills arevery large here... Not a good day... so that is what has been slowing me down the last couple days... it just doesn't feel good to hit a little kid with a car... I'm not sure why... in the end it cost 22,000pesos..... that is quite a lot for a Philippino... anyways so on the bright side... i got an interview by Elder Ko. It was way cool he taught me alot and i got to spend some time with him. it was alot of fun. Oh and the other thing that happened this week is an Elder was admitted into the Hospital with Denge Fever.... He was in the hospital for over a week and almost needed a blood transfusion he was that close to death. So i spent weeks going back and forth to the hospital and dr.'s trying to get him better also we had a big Samoan close to hospitalization... not a fun week. i just hope this week never repeats... well its now 8pm and i still have to go on a road trip to Silay 1 hour away.... a sister got bit by a dog and we have to take her some medicine... so not getting much better this week.Well I love you all.I hope things are going well Love always,Elder Larsen
