Wow... This week... Let me tell you about this week... Lets just start
out with i got a cold monday night... ya the week was great but i felt
terrible all week. So monday was just like every other monday. not
much happened. i had to take some elders to the hospital.. i took my
friend Elder Newman to get a blood test (he is an austrailian that is
almost 1 and a half feet taller than me) he is way cool. so we get
there to get his blood taken... and i'm waiting out on the chairs and
he is in getting his blood taken. 2cc's is all and the next thing i
know the nurse guy comes out and says "elder can you come help me.
your friend past out and is going to fall to the floor. so i walk into
the little room and he is flailing and passing out and i had to try so
hard not to laugh cause all the philippino's in the waiting room were
watching and laughing... =) it was really funny. so when he finally
came to i was asking him questions like his name and where he was and
who i was just to keep him coherant... (or however you spell it) and
he is like i'm elder newman. i'm not stupid!. and then he realized i
was standing in the way of the door and he said... "they are all
staring and laughing arent they..." i said "Oo" (yes) he got way
embarrased. i laughed way hard. it took twenty minutes for him to be
able to walk =) it was great. so that night elder potter informed me
that i get to be the driver the next day down to bago district. for
Elder Edioy and Elder Fausterilla. We had to install smoke detectors
and do appartment checks. when we woke up that morning i had a sore
throat and i felt terrible... but i got up and we went and i didn't
feel any better... and we did the training and then the appartments
and then came back and we got here and i wanted to rest but when i get
back i am informed that i will be going to look for apartment
furnishings... lucky me! not.. so we go to SM its the biggest mall
here on the island... probably a little smaller than provo town
center. so pretty big for the philippines. and i was out looking for
stuff untill 10pm... it was terrible. than when we got back to the
office i was told that i had to go to binalbagan the next day... that
is a 2 and a half hour drive!!!! so i was like.... okay... whatever
you need me to do. so the next day we woke up at 5 so we could be
there by 8 ( if we got ready and left by 530...) but i feel back
asleep till six and didn't end up leaving till six thirty. BUT i made
the 2.5 hour drive in 1 =) we were there fifteen minutes early =) yay
me =) we did the training than some appartment checks and then drove
home. i was still exhausted that night but the next day i didn't have
to go anywhere i just had to run stupid errands around town... which
was ok. but that night president came to the office and he was working
and sister tobias (his wife) called and elder potter answered the
phone and it was around 10 o'clock and she asked if president was here
and we told him that he was "tapos na guid" (your finished) and he
picks up the phone smiles at us and say's "yes general?" and salutes.
it was way funny! and so that brings us to thursday. Yesterday i got
up early and went 2 hours north at about 600 am to go and install more
smoke detectors got back to bacolod around noon and was dead tired
(because i havn't given myself time to relax after this cold and just
kinda sat here for a while than took Presidents son to school than
came back and went to a musical fire side. then Elder Edioy told me i
had to go deliver some papers to all the appartments in bacolod north
zones. which is where i had been all morning. so i left at about 8 o
clock... and went and went and went. i went to 9 apartments. i finally
got home at 11pm. i was so exausted =) and now here we are =) i'm
emailing you =) well that is it for the week =) we will see what kind
of adventures i have this week =) well i will let you all go =) love
