Hey Everyone,
So this week was a pretty good week. Not much happened. I had a way good birthday. Thanks to all those who sent me an email! =) The Beginning of the week was a little slow. I found out that i will be staying in San Enrique for another couple of weeks. I was supposed to transfer, but they changed their minds... OH well stuff happens. Anyways. The rest of the week went pretty well. We had transfer day on wednesday, all the elders came to Our chapel to meet their new companions. Elder Ferguson and i staid together. So we just had to watch and make sure everyone got out quickly. On Saturday we had a missionary fireside, and in the end they turned it into a birthday party for me. It was way fun. A couple of weeks ago we taught our branch president about how you spank the person with a birthday. It was his birthday Last week so we did it to him, he turned 43 i think. Either way we kept pretending we lost count and we would start over. Well at the fireside our branch president thought it would be fun to do it to me... Never teach a philippino something like that. It was way funny. There is a picture attatched of me sitting on a chair that is when he announced what his plan was to do to me. After that they all went into the releife society room and told me to stay in the chapel. They turned off the lights and then told me to come in... needless to say (But i will say it anyways) I was just a little bit nervouse... Ya.. but it turns out they had bought me a cake! It was way good. It was just a good birthday. It was way fun. Today we are going to go bowling for my birthday so that should be fun. My closing story for this email is last night we came home from la Carlota the person who was supposed to give us dinner texted saying she couldn't last night so we had absolutly no food at the house so we stood out front of our house trying to decide what to do. We live about a bakery. A bunch of old ladies with no husbands own this bakery. We decided to try to play the sympathy card, and as we walked past them we told them we were going to go up stairs and try to find food. maybe we would just cook the lizards that were on the wall since we had no food. Well we go upstairs and we were about to start planning when the old ladies knock on the door! THey brought us Spaghetti and bread!!! Talk about prayer answered!!!!! Haha. It was a good week!
