Hey Everyone!!! This week has been awesome! We didn't get a whole lot of teaching done, but my new companion and i have made some good plans and have a lot planned to get accomplished in the next couple of weeks. Well, i finally transfered out of Calumangan. I'm really going to miss it but i'm excited for a change. It's funny to think that the amount of time i spent in my last area is just a little bit less than the amount of time i have left in my whole mission. This time is going to fly!!! Especially with my new companion. I am now a zone leader over LaCarlota Zone. It is one of my favorite zones in the whole mission and i was way excited to come down here. My companion is actually my "batch" it means we went into the MTC on the same day and will go home together. He is from Australia. The last four days have been alot of fun. We work really well together. We have only had about 2 and 1/2 full days of work and managed to get 9 lessons. It was way good. i'm excited to see what we can accomplish in the next weeks. Its fun being a zone leader. We are planning for a training we are going to be giving at zone conference. My companion and i get along really well, not a single problem. other than sometimes its hard to understand with his accent ;) its not thick. i mostly just said that because he is sitting next to me and it will make him laugh if he reads it. We have some way cool investigators here, but for the most part we are focusing on the less active males that haven't been going to church. Nothing much other than that to report on. I really like my new area. Its called "San Enrique" Its a small little branch. I'm not in a stake any more, I'm in a district. So our goal is to build it up enough so that it becomes a stake. Wish us luck!!! There were a couple of interesting things that happened this week. My companion peirced a girls ears for her. She was about 11. It was way funny. Then on sunday her mom got mad at us. Cause apparently the little girl took a shower in the river... and her ears swelled... we told her not to do it. So the mom forgave us and got mad at the daughter. The other funny thing was the other day we were coming back from LaCarlota City, and we were riding a bus, and a crazy old man was sitting on the bus and when he found out my companion was from Australia he started calling him a liar and a crook and a thief... litteraly standing up on the bus and yelling these things. so we laughed abit and then took advantage of the publicity, and gave out pamphlets and stuff and invited people to church. it was just a way fun experience. Well that is really it for the week. not much else happened. Just trying to adjust to a new area, and a new responsability. It should be okay. Well i hope you all had a good week this week!
