Hey Everyone!
Wow what a week... It has been a way good week, but i have been way super tired all week. So... the only thing worth really mentioning this week is the war zone outside our house on newyears eve.... Well not really war zone... but i think that is probably what it would sound like in a war zone.The fireworks basicaly lasted all week, because nothing here is really illegal... but they really started at about 11:30 and then it sounded like huge explosions and fire crackers sounded like machine guns. so it really did sound like a war zone. It was way cool. So on new years ever we got up in the morning and began it like any other day. Just went out to teach some lessons. Nobody was sober.... so that didn't really work. After lunch we went to all our favorite places (members) and ate lots of food until about 4:30 and then we went back to the apartment, where we found our zone leaders waiting for us =) they were coming over to watch movies with us. so when they got there they had brought the projector from the stake center and we were going to project the movies up on to the wall. so we had to run and borrow the DVD player from the church. When we got back to the House we began the moviefest at about 5 o'clock. We began by watching Astroboy... It was so funny!!! Mostly because it had subtitles that must have been created by somebody who does not speak any english... it was way funny. then we watched Mulan, Toystory 1, 2, and 3, (this is where the fireworks started) Monsters Inc., Kungfu Panda, Over the Hedge, Monstor House, and astro boy again =) it was a way long night. The Zone Leaders didn't leave our house until about 6:30 am. and at that point we went to bed. Then we woke up again at noon =) and studied for a while, then attempted to go work... everybody was either still drunk or hung over from the night before. anyways =) it was a good new years. but i'm excited to get back to teaching people and not dealing with drunk people =) Yesterday i got to go and do my first baptismal interview. =) it was way cool =) both of the people that i interviewed passed and will be baptized next week =) it is way exciting. Well that is it for now. I hope things continue to go well for you this year and just think. you only have one more Elder Larsen Free Year. I come home in a little over twelve months!!!! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
